It is the mission of Provincetown Cares: Helping The Women We Love, to stage a benefit performance each year during Women’s Week and National Breast Cancer Awareness Month as a way to promote research, education, screening and treatment for breast cancer as well as other serious health issues affecting women. The proceeds will benefit both local and national organizations committed to research, education and treatment services for women in our communities.

Over $37,000 raised at our
Inaugural event
during women's week

October 17th and 18th 2008

We would like to thank all our sponsors, volunteers and incredible supporters who made our inaugural event, a stage reading of
Jane Chamber's "Last Summer at Bluefish Cove" and our VIP Auctions
a huge success. Our in kind and cash donations totaled $37,000 with over $21,000 distributed to charity.
